Royal Hampshire County Hospital
Winchester

Royal Hampshire, Winchester - Drone 1

Project Overview

Hambro Roofing successfully completed a roofing project at Royal Hampshire County Hospital for Integrated Health Projects, a joint venture between Vinci and Sir Robert McAlpine.

The installation comprised a robust Radmat PermaQuik system applied to a tapered foam glass insulation build-up, fully bonded and encapsulated in bitumen to deliver a durable, high-performance roofing solution.

The new elective hub has been developed to help reduce the elective care backlog across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight by increasing capacity and enabling more procedures to take place.

The facility is expected to deliver an additional 2,400 procedures each year and will operate six days a week, with consultants from University Hospital Southampton and Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust treating their patients within the hub.

Outcome

This project highlights Hambro's commitment to delivering high-quality, durable, and visually appealing roofing solutions. The integration of advanced materials and meticulous craftsmanship ensured a successful outcome, meeting both functional requirements and client expectations.
