Project Overview

We recently completed a compact but impactful refurbishment at a hotel located in the heart of Central London.

 

The scope of work involved installing a liquid-applied waterproofing system over the existing mastic asphalt surface, with the added goal of creating a safe, anti-slip finish for enhanced usability.

To achieve this, we used a high-performance system from Proteus, embedding quartz aggregate directly into the membrane to deliver a durable and aesthetically pleasing anti-slip surface.

 

The result was a seamless finish that not only improves safety but also looks fantastic – as showcased in the project images.
